Takeaway Treats
Handmade in our kitchen, we always have a tempting array of delicious snacks for you to takeaway.
Sausage Rolls
Made with our own sausagemeat, puff pastry and a hint of sweetness from a subtle layer of Stokes Red Onion Marmalade.
Chicken, Ham and Mushroom Pie
A delicious mix of tender chicken breast, smoked ham and delicate mushrooms in a creamy sauce, topped with melting shortcrust pastry – savoury, tasty and the perfect mid-week supper.
Castle Pasties
Tender chunks of slow-cooked beef brisket wrapped in pastry – the ideal lunchtime snack.
Steak and Ale Pie
This needs no introduction – a wholesome heart-warming family favourite. Just pop in the oven to warm through and serve with fresh greens and mash or a jacket potato.
Scotch Eggs
A golden yolk free-range egg encased in sausagemeat and rolled in toasted breadcrumbs – add a dollop of Stokes English Mustard and you are all set to go.
Pork Pies
We have both bite-size Red Onion Pork Pies and family-size Chicken and bacon pork pies, both of which will transform your picnic lunch or be a firm favourite on Saturday lunchtimes – just serve with a salad and a blob of Stokes mayonnaise.
Lasagne, Cottage Pie and Moussaka
Our Lasagne is homecooked using top quality beef mince in a rich tomato sauce, layered between sheets of pasta and topped with a satisfying béchamel sauce, our Cottage Pie uses quality beef mince and a deep topping of creamy mash, whilst Suffolk lamb cooked with aubergines and a delicious cream sauce makes our Moussaka a meal in itself.
Free-Range Eggs
Who can resist a clutch of beautiful brown eggs, freshly laid by the free-range hens at Stuart and Jayne Eglington’s (yes, very aptly named we know) farm at Eye.
With their glossy brown shells and rich golden yolks, these will add flavour to your baking, and soft boiled with a plate of buttered toast, are the ultimate teatime treat.

Complementary Sauces
Stocking a wide cross-section of condiments to complement your choice from behind the counter, we try to select only the best that Suffolk has to offer.
Stokes sauces are all unique, prepared in small batches with great ingredients and absolutely no corner cutting – try their tomato ketchup, chutneys and relishes and you will never look back. Hillfarm Oils were amongst the first producers to recognise the benefits of using cold-pressed rapeseed oil, and it’s not just the celebratory chefs who are talking about it as here at Hall Farm, we are all converts too.
Juice from Suffolk Apples
Sourced from just up the road in Kenton, our apple juice is truly local.
It is pressed on the farm from apples grown on a family orchard at Kenton from a range of traditional varieties such as Lord Lambourne, James Grieve, Charles Ross and Blenheim Orange, as well as dessert apples, Cox, Royal Gala and Russet. The family leaves the apples to mature on the trees longer, allowing them to develop their fantastic flavours, and the taste really comes through in this glorious pressed juice.
