British Sausage Week

28th October – 3rd November.

For all the sausage lovers out there, if you haven’t tried our award winning ‘Ploughman’s Sausage’ yet…. You really should!!!!!!

Our Ploughman’s sausage which contains mature cheddar cheese and ‘Stokes Red onion marmalade’ took first place in the Best Taste Sensation category at The Great Framlingham Sausage Festival this year! After trialling many other flavours (It’s a hard job but someone has to do it!..), all of us at the Butchers shop decided that the Ploughman’s sausage was the best! 
    As British Sausage week is fast approaching, why not support your local butcher and have sausages for dinner one night this week! Our butchers special sausage is ideal for the classic dish of sausage, mash and peas. While I think the new Ploughman’s sausage makes perfect toads for a delicious toad in the hole! 
     As always, all of our meat is local to Framlingham and reared to a very high standard. For all our sausages we use Blythburugh Free Range Pork where possible! We pride ourselves in the quality of all of our meat and flavours and are glad you enjoy our sausages as much as we do!
Thank you to everyone who voted for us at this years Sausage Festival, it made all the hard work worth it!!
